Xenobiologists were individuals specializing in the study of the different species of the galaxy. Several members of the Kallidahin species worked as xenobiologists at the Polis Massa Base on the asteroid Polis Massa and tended to Padmé Amidala when she gave birth to the twins Luke and Leia at the base.[1]
