"TAV is developing competitive products in compliance with international standards for the industry. The company has already entered the international market," company's CEO Vadim Smirnov told RIA Novosti at the HeliRussia-2015 expo.
The three-day fair is an international exhibition showcasing the latest achievements in the global helicopter industry. It will be open in Moscow until May 23.
TAV CEO expects the company to sign more contracts for different products, including the searchlights, with customers from all over the world this year. Russian companies have a future on the international market; TAV proves that, he noted.
Smirnov also said that last year Mi-8 helicopter simulators were installed in Croatia. "They have successfully passed certification and comply with EASA CS-FSTD H standard, meaning these are world-class simulators."
Russian pilots undergo training primarily on Transas helicopter simulators.
