Saul Perlmutter (born September 22, 1959) is an American astrophysicist. He worked at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and a professor of physics at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
Perlmutter won the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physics.
