Cry, the Beloved Country is a 1951 British drama movie directed by Zoltan Korda and based on the 1948 novel of the same name by Alan Paton. It stars Canada Lee, Charles Carson, Sidney Poitier, Joyce Carey, Geoffrey Keen, Michael Goodliffe and was distributed by United Artists. A remake was made in 1995 with the same title starring James Earl Jones and Richard Harris.
