Child's Play is a 1988 American supernatural horror movie set in Chicago. It was directed by Tom Holland. It stars Catherine Hicks, Chris Sarandon, Alex Vincent and Brad Dourif. The movie is about a serial killer doll named Chucky. It received moderate success upon release, and has gained cult following with the fans of horror.
The movie is the first in the Child's Play franchise. A reboot remake was released in June 2019.
