Scratchpad is a place to test wiki ideas before you launch a full wiki, and a place for small collaborative projects that don't need a whole wiki. The database is shared with other mini wikis, but your project will have it's own listing of recent changes and all pages as long as you use category tags.

Fandom co-founder, Angela Beesley, opened Scratchpad in January 2005 (back when Fandom was called Wikicities) as a place for users to work on small collaborations, and to make mini wikis for trial before requesting a wiki on the real site, now known as Fandom.
Now — in 2025 — that’s all in the past!!
You no longer have to try out a wiki at Scratchpad to have your very own, free-standing, full-fledged Fandom wiki!!
