The regions o Italy are the first-level admeenistrative diveesions o the state, constitutin its first NUTS administrative level.[1] There twinty regions, five o whilk is constitutionally gien a braider amoont o autonomy grantit bi special statutes.

Ilka region is dividit intae provinces (cep Valle d'Aosta, whilk haes nae province). Regions is autonomous entities wi pouers defined in the Constitution.
