Hardship Of A Vampire- The Ghost's Call
SYNOPSIS
"Oliver, do you believe in ghosts?"
When Elias asked him this, Oliver thought he was just making small talk. After all, vampires exist, so who's to say that ghosts can't? Unfortunately for Oliver, however, life always seems to throw nasty surprises at him, and he learns that ghosts exist the hard way - and he also learns that they aren't all friendly, either.
This game was fully developed within a month for Spooktober Visual Novel Jam 2024.
This is a prequel to my Spooktobe BL project last year, Hardship Of A Vampire. The main game is still in development, and knowledge from the main game isn't necessary to understand this game.

This game is so incredibly sweet! I love the unusual take on vampires as being vulnerable instead of powerful; it made for a really neat change in dynamic. The artwork is incredibly slick and polished, and there are so many CGs!! Super impressed by the quality of this entry (also there's a pet the cat mechanic? A PET THE CAT MECHANIC!?! 💚 Purr-fection, indeed!)
Thank you! My game is named "Hardship of a Vampire" for that reason haha, vampire's life is hard. And thank you, I was surprised I was able to finish all the art and added the cat at the end haha, it's something I added on the last day of the jam and I was lucky it worked without any bug. >w<
This game was amazing! all the characters are so cute and charming and the story was really fun and sweet! I liked it so much that im probably going to play all of the other games these characters appear in :D

This was so cute and a great start for the spooky season, Elias is definitely a contender for favorite, but Leo is making me conflicted! I also loved the cute scene at the end!
