Who we are

Reviewed, part of the USA TODAY Network, is a team of product experts (geeks, in truth) that put in the hard work of testing products so you don't have to. We built an entire test lab in the heart of Cambridge, MA just to make sure that when we say something is worth your money, we can back it up with good old-fashioned science.

Our mission is to help you buy the best stuff and love what you've already got. That means we'll have solid recommendations for you—no matter your budget—and we'll teach you how to unlock the secret benefits of the things you already own.

We believe that tough, objective, hands-on testing is the best way to measure the quality of a product. Like any good scientist, we promote transparency in our process. Not everyone will always agree with our recommendations (we're looking at you, brands of the world), but they'll always know how we arrived at them. And we're always happy to share the info we learned along the way.

How do we make money?

We know that earning your trust is something we have to fight for. We make money while staying honest by sticking to our scientific principles and letting quality products rise to the top.

You'll see some advertising on our site and you'll also see links to retailers. If you click on one of those links we sometimes earn a commission. The products we recommend are based entirely on the editorial team's research and are independent of business decisions.

We want you to love what we recommend and come back the next time you need advice.

Reviewed is a place where everyday people come to put their passions to work, provoking curiosities and fueling the stories that sit beneath the surface of your everyday purchases.

We believe in science and the value of expertise. We're an opinionated bunch when it comes to products, but they're opinions founded in good old-fashioned, roll-up-your sleeves research. Sometimes we get wet, sometimes we get dirty, and sometimes we have to eat a whole lot of food (for science!). Above all, we want to know our stuff so we can share it with the world.

Do you have products you'd like us to test?

If you're a brand that would like us to test your product, please contact [email protected], along with details and contact info. There's no fee for testing and your product will be evaluated solely on its merits. However, we test thousands of products each year and may not have time to get to yours.
