Lane Motor Museum is a must-visit in Nashville for automobile enthusiasts. It was opened in 2003 in a refurbished 1930s bread factory upon the personal donation from the automobile collection of Jeff Lane. Housed within 132,000 square feet of space, the museum showcases a large display of vehicles, most of which are from Europe, but also includes exhibits from Japan and the United States.
The collection consists of 580 cars of which only 150 are displayed at any given time. Some of the unique vehicles here include the tiniest French-made car with only room for one person, a DeLorean, Adler coupes from the 1930s, 1933 Dymaxion – a car that was designed to fly in the future, the rocket-powered 1948 Berger, and the world's narrowest car of the 1948 Lamar.
