The Hinako Ninomiya Intro Arc is the 63rd story arc covered in the Ranma ½ manga, spanning seven chapters. This arc was included in volume 25 of the Weekly Shōnen Sunday tankōbon and volume 23 of the Viz Media tankōbon.

Plot Summary

Furinkan High School gets a new teacher: miss Hinako Ninomiya. She looks like a little girl, however after using terryfying "Happo Five-Yen Satsu" technique, she sucks battle aura from her enemies, turning into grown beautiful woman. She's known for conquering three schools full of delinquent students and now Principal Kuno hired her in hopes of defeating Ranma Saotome. Only way Ranma can stop her is by hitting specific pressure points on her back and her chest, but doing so makes him look like a groping pervert.

Changes in anime

• Hinako Ninomiya is first introduced saving Gonsunkugi from bullies (scene from One-Punch Armor Arc). OVA skips most of first chapter till Hinako meets her class,
• Before Ranma drags her away, several students (including Kuno) hit on her.
• Ukyo, Shampoo and Kodachi aren't part of OVA adaptations.
• However Ryoga is and his words convince Hinako Ninomiya that Ranma is delinquent.
• OVA also skips Ranma's third attempt at attacking pressure points (when he hits passing lady).
• Ranma challenges Hinako Ninomiya to a duel, rather than sneak attacking during basketball game. Also he doesn't change back to guy mid-fight.
• During their fight Hinako Ninomiya's attacks drain innocent students watching the fight. Akane and Nabiki dodge by hiding behind Ryoga and Kuno.
