Scrounger is a member of the Pound Puppies who became a minor character in the TV Series.

Scrounger was an original member of the Pound Puppies in 1985
Scrounger is a Beagle/Shar Pei mix. In the TV Special, Scrounger had yellow fur, wore a light green hat, a light green tie, and a brown dog collar. In Episode 24: Garbage Night, the Musical, his fur is now white with brown ears. He also wears a green hat and tie as well.
Personality[]
Scrounger likes to look around garbage cans in hopes of finding useful items or tidbits. He shows respect for Cooler and refers to him as "boss." Scrounger is also a glutton. Whenever he eats a lot of junk food, he gets frequent stomach aches. He now changes his ways and is fond of Melissa, one of the children from the Haven House Children's Home. He speaks in a Brooklyn accent.

Scrounger has a habit of being a scavenger. He can also play the trumpet.

In the TV Special, Scrounger has a record of 29 escapes.
In Garbage Night: The Musical, Scrounger reveals that he usually eats 10 cans of garbage per day.
Along with Barkerville and Violet Vanderfeller, he made a cameo a appearance in Wagga Wagga. It is unknown what happened to them after the Wagga Wagga incident or if they used to be citizens of Wagga Wagga.
Ron Palillo, who provided the voice of Scrounger in the TV Special, was known his role as Arnold Horshack in the 1970's TV Series, Welcome Back, Kotter before his death on August 14th, 2012.
