Good show even though I don
10/02/2012
I don't use Macs and I don't work in the video editing world, but this show is still very interesting (though I usually listen on 2x speed - the banter is fun, but makes for a long show otherwise). This is the first time I've really understood the difference between a SAN and a NAS, and I figured that was worth writing a positive review.
Not just apple geeks
09/04/2012
I love that these guys, while clearly Apple enthusiasts, are not just talking about their products over and over again like other Apple techy podcasts. Great to hear one around post production! One request - can we get a show on your take on different transcoding products and the workflows you've seen with them, everything out there seems to have so many bugs that its hard to choose.
Archive vs. Backup episode #104

Finally, someone makes clear the distinction between Archive and Backup. I particularly enjoyed the analogy they gave that Archive is like sending your data to retirement.
