Great background game. Not so challenging it's frustrating, not so easy it's boring. Took a while to get used to because the solutions aren't typical for games like this, but I like that. It ends up feeling like less pressure because there's no expectation of shape/symmetry. I like the minimalist style, puzzles are quick to do without a focus on levels, and there are no ads (I think I paid a small one-time fee to get rid of ads forever, but I don't remember). Very soothing and satisfying.

Fun and creative. Different from the rest of the stuff out there, at least it is in my experience. I like it. I can just space out and unwind, not really concentrating on what I'm doing. I can be involved in a conversation and pay attention to that while I'm still doing this. It's just a simple distraction, kind of like doodling, and that can be incredibly useful or helpful. To the 2 developers, I say Nice Work! Keep it up. This may not mean much, but at least one guy out there appreciates it.

Hex is similar to the original Infinity Loop game, but uses a hexagonal grid instead of a square grid. Hex is quite a nice game, but it lacks three major features of Infinity Loop: achievements, daily challenges, and alternate game modes. Hex feels unfinished to me. It would make a great alternate game mode in Infinity Loop franchise games, but on its own, Hex is not compelling enough for me. I uninstalled Hex so I can focus on Infinity Loop, which I find more challenging and satisfying to play.
