Google Pay: Save and Pay

Every time I try to check out, the continue option is presented, but when clicked, nothing happens. It's like the screen is frozen. So I revert to entering all of my credit card data and purchasing, only to find to my great surprise, GPay processed the initial transaction! This is not the only time I've had to experience the headache of untangling duplicate purchases! Please fix!!

Terrible experience trying to set up, even my bank warned me when I'm trying to add my bank account with a third party app. The bank didn't like it, some third party app called plaid. I've never heard of it either. Just trying to add your phone number was a joke. They have to send you a verification and then when you go out of the app to your text messaging and come back you have to send for a code again. I ended up just deleting it. I just felt unsafe adding My bank account information.
