Synopsis
The episode opens at night. Above the city, Luna Girl is having a tea party on her Luna Board, but it’s too small. She decides she needs a bigger vehicle, and when she spots Romeo's Sky Factory, she decides to steal it. She first tries to trick Romeo into letting her in, but when he doesn't fall for it she tries to break the doors open with a Moon-Ball. The ball however, bounces off the doors and falls to the ground below. Nearby, Gekko and Owlette are patrolling the city in the Owl-Glider when they see the Moon Ball falling towards the school, but are in no position to stop it. Thankfully, Armadylan shows up and knocks the Moon Ball away from the school.
Owlette and Gekko are both glad and surprised to see Armadylan again after all this time. Armadylan admits he has been taking a break from hero work since he didn't feel like he was cut out for it. But Owlette and Gekko disagree and invite him to join the Power Heroes. Armadylan agrees to meet them tomorrow night. When Owlette and Gekko are gone however, Luna Girl confronts Armadylan and mocks him for thinking he could be a hero, using her Luna Magnet to show him footage of some of his past mishaps to make her point clear. Luna Girl leaves, but one of her moths stays behind with Armadylan. He tells the moth that Luna was right, and that he is no hero. But he thinks he can be one if he reinvents himself.
The following day, Connor, Greg and Amaya notice several cars in the city have been flipped over, and decide to check it out that night. That night, the Power Heroes meet up in Power Q and decide to find Armadylan so he can help out with the knocked over vehicles. To their surprise however, the PJ Picture Player shows him practicing with moth wings. Gekko and Owlette are selected for the mission and head down to Earth in the Owl-Glider to meet up with Armadylan. When they get to him, Armadylan claims he is now Moth Boy, a far more graceful hero than the clumsy Armadylan (or at least, that's what he hopes). Gekko suspects Luna Girl has something to do with this, but Armadylan denies it. Then Pirate Robot sails by with the Spanner of the Skies, and Owlette and Gekko chase after him, followed by Armadylan.
When they catch up with the ship, Pirate Robot tells the heroes his ship is now fueled by vegetables. However, when he tries to demonstrate this, the ship goes haywire and causes the Owl-Glider to crash. Gekko asks for Armadylan's help to stop the out of control ship, but rather than use his actual superpowers, Armadylan tries to stop the ship as Moth Boy. He is unsuccesful and it is up to Gekko and Owlette to stop the ship instead. They barely manage to do so before the ship crashes into the museum. Disappointed that he failed and convinced that the others don't want him on the team, Armadylan quits the Power Heroes and leaves.
Luna Girl sees Armadylan and captures him to use him as a weapon to get into the Sky Factory. She forces him to roll up in to a ball and hurls him at the doors of the Sky Factory, breaking them open. Romeo is forced to abandon ship to get away from Luna Girl and Armadylan. Now that she has what she wants, Luna Girl no longer needs Armadylan and she throws him out as well. She then begins to experiment with the Sky Factory's many buttons. On the ground, Gekko and Owlette notice the Sky Factory has been hijacked, and Gekko fears he is not strong enough to stop it. They seek out Armadylan and convince him that his old powers and identity are all he needs to be a hero. Armadylan discards the moth wings and resumes his original identity. This causes him to glow and trigger a new superpower that allows him to knock the Factory back into the sky just before it crashes. While Romeo chases after his sky factory, Owlette and Gekko officially welcome Armadylan into the Power Heroes after all that they’ve seen. Together, they shout their victory cry.
