The Pulp Fiction actor shared a picture on Instagram of him and his kids Ella and Benjamin on Friday, Nov. 29 celebrating Thanksgiving together. "I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!" John, 70, captioned the post where the trio pose around a table. "We love you! And always appreciate your support!" he added, shouting out his followers. The two also share son Jett, who died in 2009 at 16. John is supportive of his kids and constantly celebrates their accomplishments on social media, like when he posted about Ella's movie role in Get Lost in 2021, writing "I'm a very proud dad!" at the time. His son Ben, meanwhile, is passionate about parkour training, which he excitedly shares updates on. Ella told PEOPLE in October about her father's support when she started writing music during the pandemic: "At the beginning of the pandemic, I had a bunch of little voice notes on my phone of snippets of songs that I came up with or melodies," she said. "I play ukulele, and I write a lot on ukulele, so little ukulele songs [too]." When showing John her original music, he responded enthusiastically, Ella said. "He was like, 'Oh, wow, you should really finish these. You should finish these songs, and then, you could record demos of them or something,' " she recalled, adding that he dad's enthusiasm "was definitely a huge part of me wanting to really get into it even more."
