Male libido gets astonishing boost from this beloved childhood beverage: study

Here’s a juicy sex tip.

Men who regularly drink grape juice could significantly lower their odds of erectile dysfunction — especially older fellas, a new study published in the Aging Male has revealed.

Researchers at Tianjin Medical University General Hospital in Northern China found that, compared to those who consumed none at all, men who drank grape juice five times or more per week saw a 79% decrease in ED struggles. Their analysis of 600 men — 300 with ED and 300 without — with a mean age of 47.2 years showed a marked advantage for men aged 40 and older at 83% reduced odds of ED, whereas men below age 40 gained only a third as much of the benefit at just 27% reduced odds.

Erectile issues are common among aging men, with nearly half reporting having experienced bouts of ED by about age 60, according to the National Institutes of Health.

An estimated 30 million American men have suffered from ED, representing approximately 18% of those aged 20 and older, per a Johns Hopkins University stat.

“Grape juice is a non-fermented beverage with the presence of many phenolic compounds and non-flavonoid compounds with health benefits,” wrote study author Liwei Wua in the report. “According to research on different varieties of grape juice, red grape juice has more phenolic chemicals than white grape juice and may have superior antioxidant benefits.”

Researchers also investigated the potential benefits of tomato, apple, orange and pineapple juice, plus lemonade, milk, meal replacement drinks and soft drinks — but only grape juice stood out.

Aside from its libido-boosting qualities, the juice of red grapes, in particular, is also known to improve cardiovascular health by strengthening circulatory tissues and protecting against damage from high cholesterol.
