A Huge List of Sales: Sandy Liang Studs and a $23 J.Crew Turtleneck

It’s been a quiet week for sales, so I’ve leaned on my fellow Strat staffers for inspiration. First, a nice tank top from this week’s Secret Strategist is half off. And the Strategist Slack channel had some good suggestions: Home writer Lauren Ro alerted us to the super-deep discounts that Swedish brand Magniberg is offering on its poplin and linen bedding. Fashion writer (and our resident jewelry expert) Ambar Pardilla also pointed out that Catbird is running a very deep discount — up to 30 percent off! — on hundreds of items. We aren’t sure when the sale ends, so don’t dillydally.

Somehow, a few Black Friday sales are already live. The most exciting deals to me are at Soko Glam and Ulta: Soko Glam is offering 35 percent off nearly everything, and Ulta has some rolling deals that will change weekly leading up to the holiday. And since Amazon’s Holiday Haul sale ends this Sunday, I thought I would do one final dive for good deals on beauty — including our beloved Bioderma micellar water.

As always, make sure to sign up for the new Strategist Sales Alert newsletter to receive each day’s best deals in your inbox. And if you want even more deals, sign up for our regular email newsletter, which includes deals just for newsletter subscribers.

HOKA Women’s Bondi 8 Sneakers
$132
$132

HOKA’s cloudlike Bondi 8 sneakers are 20 percent off at Zappos, Bloomingdale’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and the brand’s website. The color choices vary by retailer, but you can’t go wrong with this all-black version, especially if you’re shopping for your “winter” sneakers.

Through Monday night, these Strategist-loved work pants are just $28 when you use the code MORO28. And the rest of the site is 20 percent off, too, with our exclusive code STRATSITEWIDE.

$20

The best turtleneck is back in stock and over 40 percent off.

If I didn’t already have a fleece pullover that was very similar, I would totally buy this one from Mountain Hardwear.

Some gloves to match are over 50 percent off. A slim selection of colors and sizes are only $15 at Mountain Hardwear’s site.

Nordstrom Cashmere Gloves
$37
$37

This cashmere pair, which comes in black and gray, are bit nicer for bopping around town.

The perfect tank for (next) summer is half off at Nu Swim.

The strappy one-piece Noodle swimsuit is also half off in an eye-catching fuchsia.

Hundreds of Catbird’s dainty charms, earrings, and rings are up to 30 percent off. Most things are 20 percent off, which is still a good deal for the brand (which often sticks to about 10 to 15 percent off).

Kat Dennings and I both have this teeny charm (I have silver; she has gold). It can be personalized with up to four letters and numbers.

Nice little bow earrings from (rarely so-on-sale) Sandy Liang.

Our most-recommended French pharmacy staple (and best overall makeup remover) is 20 percent off until the end of the weekend.

Ulta is rolling out new deals weekly for the entire month of November. This week’s deals include $15 cleansers — we like this one from Murad for acne.

For the entire month of November, Soko Glam is offering 35 percent off nearly everything. This is one of our best moisturizers for oily skin. In addition to containing lots of humectants, which help skin to retain moisture, “the finish is pretty matte, but without having that clay-mask-like feel,” says aesthetician Sydney Utendahl.

Beauty columnist Rio Viera-Newton used this azelaic acid serum to fend off post-pill acne after a friend told her it fixed a pre-wedding flare-up.

Sephora’s Savings Event starts today for Rouge members, who get 20 percent off sitewide with the code YAYSAVE. (VIBs and Insiders will have to wait until Tuesday to use their discount.) But if you’re lacking an account or in status, the entirety of Sephora’s in-house line is 30 percent off with the same code — I’m eyeing this Strategist-approved concealer.

Stasher Sandwich 6-Pack
$52
$52

This on-sale bundle of Stasher’s excellent reusable (and dishwasher-safe) snack bags makes each one under $9 apiece. Select single bags are on sale, too.

Some very pretty cooking utensils from one of our favorite brands, Caraway, if you’re looking to make the switch from plastic to wood.

Alessi’s sculptural stovetop coffee maker, which I’ve had my eye on for years, is 30 percent off. Stock isn’t great at Amazon, but it’s the same price at Macy’s with the code FRIEND.

A cake stand worthy of displaying the holiday season’s pies and cakes.

Set-it-and-forget-it watering stakes for forgetful plant parents.

It’s the first day of November, so it’s legally acceptable to look at Christmas décor. These slim artificial trees will definitely fit in even the teeniest apartments.

But here’s an even smaller option, too.

From $20

The Company Store’s early Black Friday sale just launched this morning. Everything (except brand collaborations) is 25 percent off, and weekly deals are up to 40 percent off — this week, one of those extra-deep discounts is on our best overall bath mat.

Now that the chillier months are here, it’s a good time to snap up our best overall down comforter for over $100 off.

Another excellent bed layer: this plush microfleece blanket, which comes in eight colors (and four “final sale” colors, which vary in availability by size).

Pottery Barn’s dual-textured throw is equally fleecy and comes in three colors.

$89

This Pendleton throw that comes with a leather carrier is 25 percent off.

Swedish homeware brand Magniberg is offering some seriously deep discounts on its archive collection. I don’t think I’ve seen this delightful pink shade in any other bedding before. (Note: The original prices are listed in Euros, so this is an approximation in U.S. dollars.)

I’ve got my eye on this supima-cotton duvet cover, which has extremely subtle striping and is only $70.

$1,695

Saatva’s best overall mattress is a little bit cheaper than usual.

$150

Our best less-expensive cordless vacuum for pet hair is over $100 off.

I spotted several fake-food toys from Melissa & Doug on sale at Amazon, but this adorable ice-cream counter is definitely the best deal.
