Another Prime Day has come to pass, and while the bulk of the deals are over (or not nearly as good as they were yesterday), a handful are still as cheap as they were yesterday — or only a couple bucks more. If you missed the sale or waited too long to hit checkout, you’ve got one more chance to score a deal. I did a price and stock check on everything from yesterday’s October Prime Day deals megalist, and I’ve rounded up the dozen or so items that I still recommend buying today. Remember, these are only the items that I and my fellow Strategist writers recommended yesterday, which means we’ve tried them ourselves, been recommended them by experts, or just believe they are exceptional deals. I can’t say when these sales will end, so as I always say — and mean especially now — don’t dillydally!
These very stretchy “chinos” were quite popular among Strategist readers during October Prime Day, and they’re still half off today.
Another popular Prime Day fashion pick was these shiny mary janes from comfy shoemaker Franco Sarto. They’re also just as cheap today as they were yesterday.
Yesterday brought some of the “best deals I’ve found on hiking boots all year,” says fitness writer Jeremy Rellosa. And while most of those deals are now over, you can still get these Merrells for over 40 percent off. “Whenever someone asks me for a hiking-boot recommendation, nine times out of ten I point them to the Merrell Moab,” says Rellosa.
Most of the very good Levi’s sales are over today, too, but this men’s trucker jacket is still marked down to as low as $53 — a good price for a good-quality jacket.
If you’re still looking for a Halloween costume for your kid, this very cute astronaut one from Melissa & Doug is still reasonably priced at $30.
This Barbie Corvette was a surprising Strategist reader best seller this October Prime Day. It’s $13 more today than yesterday, but it’s still a good deal on a great Christmas gift.
Our reader-favorite snail-mucin essence is always worth buying when it’s on sale. The deal was better yesterday, but you can still get it for over 30 percent off today. (That’s just $4 more.)
The brand’s moisturizing cream, which is one of beauty columnist Rio Viera Newton’s favorites for dry, acne-prone skin, is also still on sale for a quite good price today.
Like I said yesterday, Purple doesn’t discount its products too often these days. Twenty percent is the same discount as yesterday, and, while not huge, it’s rare enough it’s worth taking advantage of now.
Stasher’s reusable “plastic” bags have been Strategist favorites for years — they’re our top pick for the best food-storage container bags. They do go on sale often, it’s true, but usually just for around 20 percent, so the still-lingering Prime Day discount of 30 percent is a pretty good deal.
They’re $3 more today than yesterday, but this is still a great deal on some of our favorite dinner plates.
The best portable massage gun is not quite as cheap as it was yesterday, but it’s only a few bucks more today, and it makes a great gift, so it’s still a good buy.
This Apple Watch with AppleCare is still just over $200!
This is still an exceptional deal on a MacBook Air.
You can still get nearly half off one of our favorite traditional-looking artificial Christmas trees.
And a smaller, slightly more glam option if you don’t have much floor space.
The Strategist is designed to surface useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape.
