Big news from Orchard Street: Ilana Kohn is going out of business. Known for colorful linen and graphic prints (Kohn was an illustrator for The New Yorker, after all), the label became a favorite of New Yorkers who also love Rachel Comey and Mara Hoffman. If there’s a silver lining, it’s that the whole site is on sale for up to 80 percent off right now. Essentially, everything’s selling at sample-sale prices. This dress is made from deadstock denim of seasons past — so it’s doing good while looking good.
Fortunately, the “picnic plaid” doesn’t read too Little Home on the Prairie.
You can throw this over a bikini when another vacation comes around.
These are made from a cotton milled in Portugal that won’t wrinkle easily.
