After a summer lull, loads of excellent new stuff is in stock at boutiques across the city — or will be soon. We asked 25 shopkeepers and their in-the-know employees — including buyers, managers, and designers — to share the item they’re most excited to see on the floor this season. Beverly’s has glassware by Solange Knowles; Common Things and soon-to-open East Fork are stocked with colorful dinnerware; and the newly opened New York outpost of Danish menswear shop (and brand) NN.07 has luxurious basics, like a jacquard overshirt and merino-wool sweaters. Here, our preview of these items and more.

Note: All of the items below can be purchased in person at the stores listed, but for retailers without e-commerce, we’ve linked out to other shops, where necessary.
