For this week’s Don’t DillyDally, we’ve surfaced a range of things we’re sure will sell out, including redesigned Away suitcases, a moisturizer two of our staffers are obsessed with that’s finally back in stock, and Drew Barrymore’s beloved boucle chair in a new colorway.
Away’s suitcase relaunch
The brand that makes our best overall rolling luggage has revamped its entire Classic line of suitcases, all of which have been recommended to us time and again by well-traveled and stylish people. There’s a brand new trunk-style checked suitcase that’s designed to make room for bulky items on long trips, and all of our old favorites (including the Goldilocks-size Bigger Carry-on) have received makeovers in the form of earthy new exterior and interior colorways, an optional gloss finish, and additional compression compartments.
Nocs Provisions Red Tailed Hawk Collection
Nocs make beginner-friendly yet powerful binoculars. Highly compatible with a chaotic city-birder lifestyle, they’re coated in a thick layer of rubber, which means they can be thrown into a tote bag or backpack and jostled around all day without fear of damage. The classic Nocs colors are great, but this limited-edition red-tailed-hawk-inspired drop will draw even more compliments as you ramble around the Ramble.
New Hokas
Good news for the chunky-shoe crowd: Hoka’s Stinson 7 is here. Molly Baz calls her Stinson 6’s the “most supportive, comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn,”
so just imagine how cushy these new and improved versions are, whether you’re on your feet in the kitchen or on the trail. Baz wears them while working out, too.
The return of EADEM’s Cloud Cushion moisturizer
This instantly plumping moisturizer from WOC-owned company EADEM has been out of stock for months, with more than 8,000 desperate fans adding themselves to a wait list, among them Strategist writers Ambar Pardilla and Lauren Ro. As Ro explains it, Cloud Cushion is “the ideal in-between” moisturizer that “feels substantial and melts right into my skin without leaving a sticky residue or feeling heavy.” Definitely act quickly if you’d like to experience that feeling for yourself.
Ghetto Gastro x Target
Ghetto Gastro’s new Target line takes the culinary collective’s Bronx-inspired recipes nationwide, following the success of their cookbook Black Power Kitchen and a collaboration with appliance brand Crux. The breakfast-themed launch includes a plant-based sweet-potato pancake mix, spicy maple syrup, and gourmet toaster pastries. We will be stocking up.
W&P lavender drinkware
This Provence-y purple hue from Strategist favorite W&P is perfect for the final days of summer. The limited-edition colorway looks especially nice on the brand’s insulated wine glass, which is also perfectly sized for hot coffee, and you’ll also find it on the brand’s thoughtfully designed insulated water bottles and tumblers.
The return of Drew Barrymore’s Drew Chair
Is there anything renaissance woman Drew Barrymore can’t do? The actress turned talk-show host concurrently runs a deservingly successful Walmart home-goods line, and this swiveling boucle chair sold out in a mere 72 hours upon launch. Now it returns in both the original cream colorway and this new, equally cozy-looking sage one. Act very quickly if there’s an appropriate nook in your lounge room, especially if you’re also interested in the matching coffee table with secret hidden storage for extra blankets and pillows.
Barbie x Superga
A Barbie collaboration isn’t groundbreaking at this point, but we do find this Superga one notable, being such big fans of the shoe brand’s comfortable and eternally cool low-top sneakers. Several styles sold out immediately, including an incredible platform pair that seems destined to hit resale sites at significant markup, but some of the simpler designs are still available at time of publishing. Like most human shoes, they’re best suited to nonpermanently arched feet.
Flamingo Estate’s Negroni candle
Flamingo Estate basically invented the “tomato-girl summer” meme when it launched its vine-scented candle almost two years ago. So get ahead of any Negroni TikTok trends with this new limited-edition candle that’s inspired by the classic cocktail, featuring notes of star anise and orange peel. It’s a “private harvest” exclusive, which means you’ll have to join the brand’s membership program in order to purchase.
Parachute Organic Soft Luxe collection
Parachute’s first new bedding line in four years is hotel-inspired, as all good sheets really should be. Piped edging in black and cream makes these sets look unusually luxe, and the cotton has been pre-washed for that silky let’s-just-stay-here-and-order-room-service feeling. Investing in one of the brand’s very comfortable Turkish robes would help complete the fantasy.
Wrangler x Mini Rodini
A new range of teeny-tiny cowboy clothes from Wrangler and kidswear brand Mini Rodini is cute in a way that feels almost scientifically impossible. Sadly unavailable in adult sizes, this pair of retro green denim flares is our pick of the bunch, although there’s stiff competition from a similarly ’70s padded bomber jacket.
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
