Today, the Cut announced Theme Week Pop-ups, a new event series tied to the juicy, sometimes controversial themes that readers’ favorite Cut articles cover. The events will be geared toward all fans of the Cut, with subscribers receiving special access and perks.
The inaugural event of the series, which will run throughout the summer, will celebrate “Freak Week” with a one-night-only book club for smut and romance fans at Brooklyn bookstore the Ripped Bodice on Sunday, June 30. Attendees will meet the Cut’s editor-in-chief, Lindsay Peoples, and fellow Cut readers who love smut, plus gain access to interactive experiences including:
A 10 percent discount on all purchases from the Ripped Bodice during the event
An embroidery station to decorate a complimentary Cut tote
Photo collaging at the Happy Medium collage station
Sweet treats from Puffdelights and Glace, and more
VIP ticket holders will also be invited to a meet and greet and book signing with No. 1 New York Times best-selling author Tessa Bailey and receive a hat from the Cut.
