Today, New York Magazine was named Hottest Magazine of the Year by Adweek on its annual “Media Hot List,” which recognizes the people and news organizations that brought the most captivating coverage to readers.
This is the second consecutive time Adweek has chosen New York as the Hottest Magazine of the Year. The magazine’s outstanding coverage was spotlighted for its ability to “ignite cultural conversations, with viral issues devoted to post-pandemic etiquette, the history of ‘It’ girls, and the real cost of living in New York.” Adweek also cited the magazine’s thriving newsletter portfolio and recent investment in the Cut. David Haskell, New York’s editor-in-chief, was named Publishing Editor of the Year in 2021, and the magazine was first honored as Hottest Magazine of the Year under his leadership in 2019 and again in 2022.
