NJAES Announces New Director of Research
Josh Kohut, professor in the Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences, has been appointed NJAES Director of Research and SEBS Dean of Research, effective January 1. In his new role, Kohut will oversee all aspects of the experiment station’s research portfolio and work across the New Brunswick campus to support Rutgers land-grant mission. Read more »

Rutgers-managed Forest Brought Under Additional Protection of National Organization
Mettler’s Woods, deemed a “sanctuary of biodiversity,” was chosen for preservation by the Old-Growth Forest Network. The woods, one of the state’s last remaining virgin forests, is part of a 500-acre preserve that is managed by Rutgers Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Natural Resources. Read more »
