Disciple's Diary draws heavy inspiration from the old Princess Maker games and is a relaxed raising sim where you can customize the gender appearance and pronoun of your protagonist and their optional love interest.
Across two in-game years, you'll guide the young girl Bai Jinyan through her life, with your choices molding her fate and determining the game's outcomes.

Hundreds of years ago, the north-western lands of the Empire of Tianxia suffered at the hands of an everlasting drought.
Many lied waiting at death’s doorstep until the Grand Secretary Su Luoheng, with the help of a dragon, managed to conduct a ritual to suppress the heat, summon the rain, and rejuvenate the lands once more. This great act’s success then allowed Su Luoheng to ascend to the heavens.
However, a few centuries later, the lands transformed yet again into a wasteland, seemingly overnight.
In the first year of the following dynasty, the dragon Long Yuxin met a banished Celestial Immortal and a young girl while wandering about the Mortal Realm. Little did Yuxin know that an unexpected nightly escapade tied their lives together. For, unbeknownst to Yuxin, each of them held secrets that could determine the fate of all mortals living in the north-west of the Empire.

Help dragon Long Yuxin raise a child, woo a spouse, unravel the mysteries of the past, and maybe stop the everlasting drought plaguing the Empire while you’re at it.

Most of the main story will be written from the dragon's point of view. Although during the gameplay phases, it will shift more into the child's perspective uwu)9
