NGI Zero Review is a three year support programme offering various targeted services to free and open source projects within the Next Generation Internet initiative. The goal is to improve the quality and inclusiveness of these projects and make them more sustainable where possible.
The Next Generation Internet initiative does not only want to support the most promising ideas, but it also wants these efforts to live up to high standards and be available in an easy way. In order to support that, NGI0 Review offers the following services:
- localisation/internationalisation
- copyright compliance and open source licensing
- reproducible packaging and continuous integration
- testing and performance tuning
- accessibility and inclusive design
- community building
- diversifying developer and user communities
- normalisation within a standardisation body
- independent security scan
- setting up or improving governance of projects
NGI Zero Review is targeted at free and open source technologies created within the scope of the Next Generation Internet. In other words: you can apply for support from NGI Zero Review with your free and open source project if that project contributes to the vision of the Next Generation Internet, and has received a grant from the Next Generation Internet initiative (from any past or active programme).
The internet can and should bring out the best in all of us.
