Gunshots rang out at the North Lake Reedy boat ramp in Frostproof at around 7:42 pm on Saturday, May 3rd. PCSO deputies responded and made contact with two teens and an adult who reported hearing the gunshots and seeing the bullets hit the water near their boat. The adult told the deputies that he saw an older white male with a long rife. The adult victim began waving his arms in the air to make sure the suspect saw him. The victim said the suspect then raised the rifle back up and pointed it at them again, so he told the juveniles in the boat to get down as he hurriedly got the boat away from that area. Detectives located the suspect and identified him as 69-year old James Robert Fatout of Frostproof. Fatout claimed he was only shooting at birds over the lake, and he denied ever pointing his gun at the victims. Although, he later said, "At least I got a shot at 'em before y'all got here." A PCSO deputy responded to a reported in-progress burglary on Shamrock Road in Haines City on Monday, May 5th, at around 6:20 pm. When he arrived, he found the suspect still at the residence and took her into custody. The suspect identified herself as Brianna. The deputy asked her what her date of birth was, and the suspect refused to tell him, saying that he didn't need to know. She was right...the deputy didn't really need to know. He used his resources and learned that Brianna wasn't really Brianna. She was actually 31-year old Felicia Michelle Essa of Lakeland. He also found out that Felicia was on probation for burglary. She also had warrants for her arrest for: burglary of a dwelling, burglary of conveyance (2-counts), resisting without violence (4-counts), grand theft of a motor vehicle, and possessions of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
