Delivery driver robbed at gunpoint while picking up White Castle order in St. Louis
ST. LOUIS – A delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint Friday evening while picking up a White Castle food order in St. Louis, police say.
The robbery happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday outside a White Castle restaurant in the 4500 block of South Kingshighway Boulevard in St. Louis’ Bevo neighborhood.
The victim told police that he left his vehicle unlocked and running while he went inside White Castle to pick up an order, according to a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department crime summary report.
Suspect in custody after pursuit ends in St. Peters: Police
When the victim returned, he saw two masked suspects inside his vehicle and tried to confront them. The two suspects displayed guns and ordered him to stay away. Moments later, the two suspects took off thn the victim’s vehicle.
Police later recovered the victim’s vehicle in the College Hill neighborhood.
