The Weeknd comes to L.A. for ‘one night only’

“Tell Your Friends,” The Weeknd is headed to an iconic Southern California venue to celebrate his latest album’s release.

Last week, the “Blinding Lights” singer announced his sixth studio album, “Hurry Up Tomorrow,” will be released on Jan. 24, 2025.

Shortly after, he revealed a show to honor the album at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

“ONE NIGHT ONLY AT ROSE BOWL STADIUM,” he wrote on Instagram on Nov. 27.

“Hurry Up Tomorrow,” is the final chapter of the Toronto, Canada, native’s trilogy following his 2020 album “After Hours” and 2022’s “Dawn FM.”

Fans have been waiting for months for new music from the singer. After numerous teasers, he released the album’s title in early September days before hitting the stage of Estádio Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil, for another one-night-only show.

During the show, he surprised fans with collaborations with Brazilian singer Anitta and rapper Playboi Carti.

The single “Timeless” with Playboi Carti was released on Sept. 27, and “São Paulo” with Anitta was released on Oct. 30 with an accompanying music video.

Tickets for The Weeknd: Hurry Up Tomorrow – One Night Only at Rose Bowl go on sale at 10 a.m. on Dec. 2 on Ticketmaster.

The show takes place on Jan. 25, 2025, at 8 p.m.
