Jasper graduated from the Rotterdam Technical College in Energy Science and worked mostly in the maritime industry as an electrical specialist, both in design, engineering, commissioning, and service with vast experience in dredging, offshore, mining, and naval ships.

He currently holds the position of Manager electrical and automation in the proposal department at Damen Naval and involved in the design, requirement analysis and tendering of naval combatants and auxiliary vessels.

Jasper is based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Mark is a Technical Authority and Design Lead for BAE Systems Naval Ships. Having previously worked in ship building (Omani Khareef Corvettes and Royal Navy Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft carriers), ship design (RN T26 Frigates), maintenance (T23 Frigates and T45 Destroyers), he now focuses on concept design and technology development. He specializes in structures, operability and requirements capture.

Rear Admiral (Ret.) Nils Wang became Managing Director of Naval Team Denmark upon retirement in April 2018 after serving more than 40 years in the Danish Defence Forces. More than ten years of active sea duty in the Danish Navy includes 5 years in Arctic Waters around Greenland. Rear Admiral Nils Wang is one of Denmark’s leading analysts on issues related to geo-politics, Arctic security and the relationship between Denmark and Greenland. He was Head of the Royal Danish Navy from 2005 to 2010 and concluded his career as Commandant of the Royal Danish Defence College. He was part of the Danish Government Expert Advisory Group on Security Policy, preparing the geo-strategic take-off for the up-coming Danish Defence Agreement. Nils Wang is frequently used as expert/guest speaker at conferences and venues focusing on Future Naval Platforms. He is member of the Board of Directors in several defence companies.

VP, Coast Guard & Navy at ABB Marine & Ports

With over 20 years of experience within the marine industry with a BSc in Process Automation, Egil started his marine carrier as a commissioning and service engineer at ABB, commissioning and servicing Oil & Gas related vessels around the globe.

He also worked with control systems including, process control, safety systems, IPMS systems, power management systems and dynamic position systems.

Throughout his career, Egil has held several operations/sales management positions within start-up companies to multinational companies (Kongsberg Maritime, ABB) including global assignments.

Egil currently holds the position of VP Coast Guard & Navy at ABB Marine & Ports Norway with a task of building up the team and business related to surface naval ships (European market).
