NDEA UPDATES

Message from the President

The Notre Dame Educational Association as a leading service oriented organization of Catholic schools in Mindanao, working for, guided by and in cooperation with the local churches is committed to coordinate, collaborate and assist member schools in the pursuit of their respective mission.

The COVID 19 has changed dramatically education and functionalities with the distinctive rise of several modalities whereby teaching and/or operation of service units   are undertaken remotely and on digital platforms.

The VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity) situation, challenged  NDEA to be creative as it discerned ways and means to reach out to  member schools  to be able to help provide direction and leadership; help them carry out the catholic decrees on education; initiate programs and services for the improvement of school management, personnel and instruction; establish linkages and networking opportunities with other associations; and, above all, foster unity among them  as NDEA  schools share resources, both human and material.

The need for a website becomes urgent then, at this time of the pandemic as it is accessible to anyone, anywhere, anytime. Even during non-office, personnel of member schools can access the website and be well informed of the development in the Association and in education and avail of its services. It is now an essential tool for NDEA to establish credibility and build trust among member schools.

Thus the integration of information technology in educational services of NDEA will be further accelerated and that online activities of the Association will eventually become an integral component in the functioning of NDEA.

Welcome then to the NDEA website as we launch it today:  ndeaceapxii.org!

Thank you!

That in All Things God be glorified!

S. MARIA FE D. GERODIAS, RVM
