Legal Information Centre
The Legal Information Centre was established in 2002 in collaboration with the Council of Europe, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Open Society Fund.
The Centre houses a specialised collection encompassing resources related to law and associated disciplines.
It offers access to various materials, such as:
Monographs covering law and related fields,
Official documents like the Official Gazette of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, Official Gazette of the City of Belgrade, as well as international agreements of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
2. Secondary publications:
Encyclopaedias, lexicons, dictionaries and registries of legal regulations.
3. Electronic information:
IndOK database containing a comprehensive registry of all regulations at the federal, state and city levels, along with consolidated texts of legal regulations, updated monthly.
The National Library of Serbia employs a special lettering code within the shelf mark (PB), facilitating the identification of each publication within the Centre. These publications are accessed through a designated reading room. Upon request, users can obtain documents either in printed format or as copies.
