The Snowman befriends Fozzie Bear in the 1987 special A Muppet Family Christmas. Fozzie builds the Snowman, who comes to life and becomes Fozzie's comedy partner. The pair sing "Sleigh Ride" together with some woodland animals.
Hoping to cheer Kermit the Frog up, Fozzie and the Snowman attempt their comedy act, only to be heckled by Statler and Waldorf. Defeated and melting, the Snowman spends the rest of the night on the back porch. He also appears in The Annual Carol Sing during "Caroling, Caroling."
Other appearances[]
The puppet, sans hat, later made cameo appearances in 1992 in The Muppet Christmas Carol during "It Feels Like Christmas" and on Sesame Street in 2011 in the "Elmo's Got the Moves" music video.
