Fraggle Rock: The Ultimate Visual History is a 224-page hardcover book about the making of Fraggle Rock written by Jody Revenson and Noel Murray, and featuring a foreword written by Neil Patrick Harris.
Some content from the book was originally intended to have been released by Insight Editions as early as 2008 as a part of the 160-page Down at Fraggle Rock: Lost Treasures from the Jim Henson Archives by Jocelyn Stevenson (a book that was delayed multiple times and subsequently shelved by 2016 following a failed tie-in with the show's 30th anniversary).

Errata[]
- A picture on page 21 misidentifies No'man's species as a bear instead of a camel.
- Page 123 states that Stephen Katz had directed episodes of The Muppet Show and Spitting Image. It was actually Peter Harris who directed those projects.
- On page 178, an image of Red with a bandaged leg in bed is cited as being from the episode "Playing Till It Hurts." The image is actually from "Blanket of Snow, Blanket of Woe."
