Introducing the Munchie Mitt
The world’s first hot dog dispensing, mustard embellishing, ketchup clasping, cold beverage clutching baseball glove.
“I see great things in baseball.” - Walt Whitman
“Nothing has ever been as fun as baseball.” - Mickey Mantle
“What if we created a glove that dispensed a hot dog, complete with mustard and ketchup, kept any refreshment cold and could catch a pop fly at any baseball stadium in the world?” - Munch E. Mitt, Creator of the Munchie Mitt
Okay, the last quote is fabricated.
But who doesn’t love a ballpark frank on a summer day? Dress it how you please and pair it with your favorite ice-cold beverage. The smell of fresh-cut grass. The sun shining as you play catch with a loved one or close friend in the backyard. What if we just combined all of those things directly into the palm of your hand?
With that in mind, Mother and the fun-loving folks at Minor League Baseball (MiLB) created the Munchie Mitt:
-
The premium leather glove is pre-broken-in. You could snag grounders if you’re willing to get your dog a little dirty.
-
Our favorite element is the 3D-printed mechanism that slides a hot dog up after each bite. So like a push-pop, but hot dog.
-
The design of the beverage holder is inspired by the webbed gloves, which have the added benefit of being a window to see how much of your drink is left. It was important to include a device for drinking so fans never have to put their glove down.
Two smaller holsters hold ketchup and mustard. Or, if you’re a never-ketchup person, it can hold relish or something.
Where else in the world will you find this sort of savory silliness?
Only in MiLB, my friend. Only in MiLB.
