Clair was born in Wales and came to Italy 25 years ago for 6 months (it was a long 6 months). She has lived in Naples and Ferrara and now lives with her Italian partner and a grumpy schnauzer on Lake Maggiore. She splits her time between the North of Italy and Tuscany. She has a real passion for food and wine and loves to write about both and, as a trained sommelier, is currently studying for her WSET diploma. With a background in the luxury travel industry, she is happiest when sharing her knowledge of Italy by designing itineraries and showing visitors the beauties of her adopted home.
