Our values

  • Inclusion

Minority or indigenous persons, people with disabilities and people of colour are under-represented in our team and so we particularly welcome applications from these groups. We are committed to offering an interview to any applicant with a disability if they meet the role's essential criteria.

  • Development

MRG makes opportunities for training, guidance and skills development available to all staff from the beginning, with career development funds available after 18 months with us.

  • Fair recruitment

We aim to keep candidates informed of the stages of the recruitment process and to include someone from a minority in each interview panel. We always advertize the pay for our roles.

Working with us

Our staff have different contracts depending on where they are based.

For employees, we offer hybrid working, generous holiday allowance, pension contributions, parental leave, sick pay, travel insurance and an employee assistance programme.

Interns and volunteers

Like many not-for-profit organizations, we sometimes hire interns and volunteers to help us with our work.

As these roles are unpaid, we only recruit interns who have some form of funding, or who are doing an internship as part of their studies. These positions provide interns with new skills and provide us with new perspectives on our work. We generally look for internships or volunteers for longer than three months.

There is a variety of options for internships. They could be to help with our legal work, with running programmes or helping to research updates to information about minorities and indigenous peoples around the world or working with staff on the essential tasks that underpin all our work – e.g., fundraising, communications, finance, administration and human resources.

Any internship opportunities will be advertized on this page.
