LD47 - The Loop

Ludum Dare 47 Entry - Theme: Stuck in a loop.

Aim and Fire with the mouse.

Hold the S key to bring up a shield and block the enemy bullets.

SPACE will also bring up the shield, but that scrolls to the bottom of the screen in Firefox.

A loving homage to the SNES Super Scope game Battle Clash, Time Crisis, and Pacific Rim.

Humanity thought that giving AI control of automated factories would bring in a lifetime of peace and plenty.  Unfortunately the AI rebelled and produced giant battle robots.  Humanity created THE LOOP, a giant wall circling the factory.  The robots will break through eventually, so you are the last remaining Battle Mech patrolling THE LOOP destroying what you find.
