Helicoptr 1k

It is an arcade helicopter action game, developed for PICO-1k Jam 2024.

It's your job to rescue the valuable crates from the sea using your helicopter and the special red rope. But remember that your fuel tank is limited and full speed costs a lot of fuel.

Controls

Use the x button to get the helicopter into the air. When the helicopter is flying, use the arrow keys to steer the vehicle into the desired position.

You can release the x button to reduce the speed and fuel consumption.

Goals

Rescue the seven crates as quickly as you can. To do this, pick up the crates with the rope and bring them to the rescue area. Your helicopter will be refueled at the heliport (starting position).

Your helicopter cannot land on the sea or fly without fuel. If you mess up, the game will be restarted.

Background story

Helicoptr is developed for the Pico-1k game jam in september 2024 for the virtual console pico-8 . It has to be used a limited code size of 1024 compressed bytes and doesn't not use prepared sprites and sounds.
