Landmarks are iconic places in Manhattan that Spider-Man can take pictures of in Marvel's Spider-Man. The ability to use the camera and photograph these locations is gained during the Landmarking mission.
To take a photograph, get close to the marked landmark location and press 
to activate the camera. While facing the landmark, use 
to zoom in the camera, and move the camera until the lens in the field-of-view turns green, then use 
to capture the image.
Landmarks are scattered over the many districts and are pinpointed on the map. There are, in total, 47 landmarks featured in the game, with each photograph earning players 1 Landmark Token and 100 XP.

Secret landmarks[]
In addition to marked landmarks, there are Secret Photo Ops locations. These are not initially known about in the game and there is no quest for them. Secret Photo Ops are only discovered when a player takes a random photograph of a particular place of interest, and it happens to be one of the several secret photo locations available.
Once players hit level 50, they will unlock the Proximity Sensor suit mod which will make the photo locations show on the minimap, but not on the main map. While this is certainly helpful, the range is poor.
The game features 50 secret landmarks, rewarding players with 100 XP per photo. Once all 50 photos have been taken, players are awarded the ESU Suit.
