"How could he be in the hole and get killed in a newspaper office at the same time?"
"Some pencil-pusher must've checked the wrong box and let him out by mistake."
Ray Nadeem and Riggle[src]

Riggle is the warden of Ryker's Island.

Biography[]

Attack on Prisoner[]

"How the hell did you let this happen?"
"Don't try to pin this shit on us. He's your snitch."
Ray Nadeem and Riggle[src]

When the staged attack on Wilson Fisk by Jasper Evans, Riggle escorted Ray Nadeem to Fisk's cell, as Fisk's intel was viable for the FBI operations. On the way to the cell block, Nadeem questioned how could Riggle let a prisoner get attacked in broad daylight, putting the blame on Ryker's Island for letting that happen. Riggle, however, denied his accusations and claimed that Fisk's safety was Nadeem's responsibility, due to his deal with the FBI, before leaving him to have a talk to Fisk.[1] Later on, Riggle got bribed by Fisk to falsify paperwork for Evans' release, while making it look like he was put in a solitary confinement.[2]

Questioned by Nadeem[]

"Look. I'm not trying to jam you up. I'm just trying to nail down how he got out. And who might have wanted him dead? I need answers, warden. You got nothing? Seriously?"
"I want my lawyer."
Ray Nadeem and Riggle[src]

Eventually, Riggle got contacted by Ray Nadeem who requested to check on Jasper Evans, and Riggle had to admit that Evans disappeared from Ryker's Island while he was supposed to be in the whole.[2] When Evans was found dead at New York Bulletin Building after Daredevil's attack, Riggle got summoned to the New York City FBI Office as Nadeem needed to know what was the deal with Evans. He showed Riggle Evans' picture and commented on the crime that landed him at Ryker's, before questioning Riggle on how could a prisoner who was transferred to a hole could be found dead at a completely different location.

Riggle suggested that Evans could have been wrongfully released during a bureaucratic error, still denying any responsibility and refusing to admit his cooperation with Wilson Fisk. Nadeem tried to meet Riggle halfway and assured him that he was not trying to ruin him but simply needed answers on how Evans made his way out of Ryker's. However, Riggle still refused to give any comments an only requested a lawyer, making it clear that he would not cooperate with the FBI otherwise.[3]
