Battle at the Alexander Hamilton Bridge[]
Green Goblin throws a bomb on the bridge
When Green Goblin was transported to a different universe, he ambushed Spider-Man on the Alexander Hamilton Bridge before he and Doctor Octopus were whisked away to the Sanctum Sanctorum. Throwing a pumpkin bomb, a large amount of the bridge was damaged.[1]

Once Green Goblin had overtaken Norman Osborn's personality once more and attacked Spider-Man inside of Happy Hogan's Condominium, they fought all the way down into the lobby. With Goblin having overpowered Spider-Man, he was then injected with the Anti-Goblin Serum by Aunt May, only for it to fail. Green Goblin then struck May with the Goblin Glider, before throwing a Pumpkin Bomb at her, mortally wounding her. Before leaving, Green Goblin sent a couple more pumpkin bombs outside.[1]

Later, Green Goblin arrived at the Statue of Liberty and threw a pumpkin bomb in the direction of Doctor Strange, Doctor Octopus, and the three Spider-Men. The bomb became lodged inside the Macchina di Kadavus, exploding and causing the unstable spell to be released. This caused a large shockwave that caused construction components, as well as the statue of Captain America's Shield to come tumbling down. It also caused a rupture in the Multiverse. When Goblin prevented Peter Parker from rescuing Michelle Jones, in anger, Parker grabbed hold of one of the bombs and detonated on board the Goblin Glider, causing them to crash to the ground.[1]
Capabilities[]
The Pumpkin Bombs have the ability to explode like normal bombs, via the use of a ticking timer. The Pumpkin Bombs can cause huge explosions that can cause damage to several buildings and can kill an alien species at once. They also have the ability to vaporize a person or more with just one bright green light, which can turn victims into skeletons and into dust, killing them instantly.
Trivia[]
- In the comics, the Pumpkin Bombs were styled as jack-o-lantern bombs developed by Green Goblin and not only explode but can also set objects on fire. In the films, they are simply metallic bombs styled like pumpkins that can cause destruction and vaporize an opponent within seconds.
- This design of the Pumpkin Bombs first appeared in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
