Pamela Lawton was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom who was kidnapped by the Skrull Council and replaced by an impostor during the Secret Invasion. Lawton was freed from New Skrullos once Gravik was defeated and resumed her role as Prime Minister until she was assassinated by vigilantes who believed her to be the Skrull impostor.

Lawton in a Fracking Pod
During her term, Pamela Lawton was kidnapped by the Skrull Council and replaced by an impostor.[2] Lawton was brought to the New Skrullos, where she was put in a Fracking Pod while her impersonator worked to take over Earth.[3]
Release and Death[]
Lawton was freed and helped out of her Fracking Pod by G'iah and returned to England, resuming her position as Prime Minister. However, United States President James Ritson's made a speech declaring all species not born on Earth to be enemy combatants, so vigilantes began a crusade to kill Skrulls living on Earth. One vigilante visited Downing Street and, believing Lawton to be a Skrull, shot and killed her.[1]
