Wanting to take over Earth, Loki obtained the Tesseract, Gungnir, and an army of Chitauri so he could attack New York. While doing so, Loki came face to face with his own brother, Thor, and tried to blast him with Gungnir. However, his brother got the best of him as Loki was soon defeated.
