History[]
Arrival of the Mechanic[]
This section needs a rewrite |
After crashing in Rose Hill due to J.A.R.V.I.S.' rerouting for the investigation of the Mandarin, Tony Stark found shelter at the Keener residence, carrying his suit with him. Placing the suit on the couch and beginning repairs, Stark was then interrupted by Harley Keener, who snuck in with his potato gun. After a brief confrontation, Keener told Stark that he was dead, giving him a newspaper that presumed Stark's death. The two had a conversation about their circumstances, Keener's personality reminding Stark of himself. After Stark mentioned Keener's bully, he offered him a flash grenade in exchange for his help.[1]
Tending to the Suit[]
Later on, as Stark made his journey, Keener was watching over Stark's suit, putting J.A.R.V.I.S. on the phone as Keener continued the suit's repairs. However, after Keener told Stark that the suit was not charging, Stark stopped the car and began to worry. Keener asked Stark if he could build something to help him as Stark realized the idea.
During Stark's infiltration, Stark would manage to escape his bed, though only some parts of the suit would arrive. Back at the Keener residence, the suit would try to break through to help Stark. Keener approached the door slowly and broke the locks as the suit's parts flew away to help Stark, Keener watching in admiration.[1]
Thanks from the Mechanic[]
A few days after the Battle on the Norco, as Keener was returning home from school, he entered the house to see a new workshop specially designed by Stark for helping him out. Looking around and admiring the new setup, Keener would find the newest version of his potato gun as a gift from Stark.[1]
