Simmons' fake grave
Jemma Simmons was an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., who was shot and killed during the Massacre at the S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy. While it was believed that she was buried in the United Kingdom, she, along with her colleagues, were actually buried in a grave at the Academy, as part of a coverup story from HYDRA.
Several years after Simmons was buried in an open grave with her deceased colleagues, her real-world counterpart logged into the Framework and took her place.[4]

- Genius-Level Intellect: Simmons had at least two PHds as it is a requirement to get into S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy.
- Spy: Simmons was an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., who was loyal until the end as she was shot and killed defending S.H.I.E.L.D..
Facilities[]
- S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy: Much like her real-world counterpart, Simmons trained at the S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy to become a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. She later took part in the defense of the facility against HYDRA, but was shot and killed during the battle. Her corpse was then buried in a mass grave located on the premises of the Academy.
