While the book contains no substantial differences to the Continunity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it does contrain some minor differences with the film. The book will ocasionally omitt short lines of diolouge from a scene (ex. Vers not including brother in her list of guesses about what Yon-Rogg sees when he visits the Supreme Intelligence). The book will also sometimes contain small pieces of new information (i.e. identifying the Kree Military headquarters as the Kree Military Tower and Minn-Erva cursing after defeating the Att-Lass Skrull.)
