A'Lars is the father of Thanos and the adoptive father of Eros.
Biography[]
Life on Titan[]
A'Lars lived on the planet Titan and was the head of the Titan Royal Family. He had a relationship with a woman and together had a son that they named Thanos. Later, they adopted an Eternal named Eros.[2] Over time, Eros left Titan and Thanos warned of the threat of overpopulation and suggested a solution in the form of genocide. He eventually left and became a galactic warlord, while Titan was overcome by overpopulation and following a catastrophic event, was left uninhabited.[1]

- In the comics, A'Lars was a scientist and leader of the Eternal settlement on Saturn's real-life moon of Titan, and often went by the title of Mentor.
- In the official subtitles of Avengers: Infinity War, A'Lars' name was spelled as "Alars."
